We welcomed two burger virgins this week — Dugger and The Real Uncle Puck — to this month’s meating of men.
While most PAX opted for the chef recommended The Smash burger, some were turned off by “bacon schmeer” and “comeback sauce” toppings and, instead, went with the signature Irish Times Burger.
It was a welcoming atmosphere at this casual haunt in Brookfield with great service and a waitress that didn’t think twice about climbing on top of a barstool to grab a group photo.
After a short bit of confusion about fries or coleslaw as a side, the burgers (and sides) made their way to their proper owners.
The burgers were noted for being flavorful with fresh toppings. A few comments about burgers being smaller than expected and fries, while generally rated as “really good”, could have been more generous.
Burgers came in at a solid B+ score of 3.8 and overall rating of an even higher 4.2.
Koko issued the first Double Perfect score with a 5.0 in both burger and overall categories.
